Our 2012 Lily Garden Bus Tour included visits to four gardens from Marshalltown to
Shellsburg to Cedar Rapids Iowa.IRLS members and friends visited a local nursery in
Cedar Rapids plus dined in the Amanas before returning home to the Des Moines area.

Don Lovell's  National AHS Daylily Display Garden features not only a large display of
Daylilies, but also a display garden for  thousands of Don's own hybridized seedling
daylilies. The hosta gardens thrive under the tall trees and the True Lily collection was
stunning in the sunny garden beds.
